Overview
MLB mobile tickets are accessed exclusively through the MLB Ballpark App. Tickets are automatically assigned to the buyer’s account via email address and do not require acceptance or generate transfer emails from Tickets.com.
⚠️ Note: While the Chicago Cubs are referenced in MLB’s guide, the process is the same for all teams.
Important Notes
- Tickets are automatically delivered to the email used at purchase
- No transfer email will be sent to the buyer or supplier
- Tickets do not need to be accepted
- Buyers must access tickets via the MLB Ballpark App
- You must link your ticket account to the correct home team
Step 1: Download & Log Into the MLB Ballpark App
- Download the MLB Ballpark App (if not already installed)
- Log in using your MLB account credentials

Step 2: Link Your Ticket Account
- Open the app
- Navigate to your profile (top-left corner of Home tab)
- Select “Link Ticket Account”
- Choose the home team for your event
- Complete the account linking process

Step 3: Refresh Your Ticket Wallet
- Go to the “Tickets” or “Wallet” section
- Pull down to refresh
If tickets do not appear:
- Log out of the app
- Log back in
- Refresh again
Step 4: Verify Your Email Address
If tickets are still missing, confirm your email is verified:
- Open the MLB Ballpark app
- Tap the profile icon (top-left corner)
- Locate “My MLB Account Emails”
- Ensure the email used to purchase tickets is listed
- Select “Send Verification Email”
- Open your email inbox and click the verification link
